What Remains

I haven’t posted any music lately, so here is a song from our latest album. This was a labour of love. Partly because the poem that inspired it, Henry Reed’s 1942 Lessons of the War: I: Naming of Parts, has been a favourite since I first heard it when I was thirteen, and also because it was a sheer joy to be able to have time to think deeply about the words and write a completely new poem expressing some of the same dissonance of beauty and love and war.
